Founder and owner of Beach Cottage Living and At The Cottage Cape Cod.

I'm a wash ashore living on Cape Cod. I live in Harwich and raised two sons now living in Boston.

My husband is a 12^th generation Nickerson owner of a landscape company based in Chatham.
 
Beach Cottage Living “unofficially” started 26 years ago when my oldest son was born. I was making rag rugs and pillows for a little extra cash and selling in local Cape Cod shops and doing craft shows. After my second son was born, and business was growing strong, I opened my first retail location in Chatham, Ma in 2001. Beach Cottage Living, (then Beach Cottage Designs) was born.
 
Two more shops and nearly 28 wholesale locations, my business had become a fulltime, year round company. I closed my last retail location in Harwich Port in January of 2014. The retail business chapter was over and I took a large commercial studio space and dove into more wholesale, online sales and Pop Up shops.
 
I currently have  a creative studio space in the former Harwich Middle School to create, design, sew and paint.
 
I really love what I do and I’m always looking for inspiration for the next handmade collection.
