The first one is: MUSHROOMS
We have seen the trend of mushroom the past two years and this year it's the #1 trend. Ornaments, pillows, fabric, and even in cooking. I love the trend and I hope it stays around.

.
The second trend is: PAPER
Paper. Paper snowflakes, ornaments, wrapping paper, and cards. All unique, and handmade. I love this trend as well.
.
.
The third trend: STARS- Specifically, fluffy stars
Stars have always been part of the holiday decor. This year's trend has a fluffy, furry look. Could be faux fur, pom poms or feathers. Light and airy.
.
.
Fourth Trend: WOODLAND
The woodland trend includes the mushroom trend. Lots of pine, pinecones, dried fruit and all of nature's bounty.
.
.
The fifth and final trend: BRASS/COPPER
Metals and metallics have always been in the holiday decor scheme. This year includes copper and brass. Not so shiny, more of a natural, patina look. again, I love this with the woodland, mushroom and paper theme.
