On The 7th Day Of Christmas My True Love Gave to Me...
Potato Stamped Wrapping Paper.
Did you make potato stamp paper when you were a kid? I did. It is a fun and easy way to create handmade wrapping paper. I made some today in my studio to wrap a couple small gifts ready for giving.
Here's what you will need:
- Potato- any size
- Small paring knife
- Sharpie Pen
- Paint- red and green
- Pencil with eraser
I first cut my potato in half- evenly. I used my marker to draw a star.
I cut away the background and left the star. I used a sponge brush to apply the red paint to the potato stamp star. Just have fun, do a random pattern. I then used the eraser on a pencil to create the green dots. Let dry and wrap!!
So simple, so fun to do with kids. !!
