On The 11th Day pf Christmas, My true love gave to me...
A trip to Magnolia Market in Waco, Texas.
So many of us, actually all of us, have been watching Chip and Joanna Gaines built their "Fixer Upper" empire for many years. HGTV allowed us to follow along as their tv show turned into a Shop, Magnolia Home, a bakery, restaurant, marketplace, silos, event venue, Target merch line and now launching their own network.

Our family travels together for Christmas every year. This year my son thought Austin, Texas would be fun. I honestly didn't put the two together at first. We just planned our stay in Austin with plenty to do there over five days. Magnolia kept coming up as a day trip, must, place to see. It was just one hour and a half away. One day trip. That was going to be my selection to make on this trip.

I really didn't know exactly what to expect. I mean, I have seen all the things online, like everyone else, but sometimes (most of the time) it does quite look like what you see on tv. As we pulled up, I saw the silos ! Exactly what you see on social media. We parked and walked into the marketplace. The little courtyard with all the little cottages around the edge, all different themed shops. The church was the focal point on the end. As you wind through and make your way toward the silos, there is a courtyard of food trucks, open green play space, seating, bakery, coffee shop and the big home store. IT'S AMAZING !

I felt like I was on a movie set. It was like I hoped. We ate, stayed most of the day and watching all people doing the same on December 23. So, I had to ask the woman in the bakery ( I got the Jojo coffee chocolate cupcake) if they see Chip and Jo. She said that they are here often ! They had just hosted a staff party for them all and had a music concert that Chip was at in front of the solos. Joanna was in NYC for a few days promoting their new tv network but was headed back to Waco. All the staff were so nice. Everything was very clean and looked meticulously kept. Not worn at all considering how many visit everyday.

So, I will be checking that off my "Bucket List" I have a few others that are on my list. My next stop for 2022 is the Luckett's Store, The Holiday House or Spring Market in Leesburg, Virginia. Fingers crossed for 2022 travel! If it's on your list, go! You won't be disappointed.

Thank You Magnolia in Waco, Texas for making my dreams come true.
